PLEASE READ FIRST! Below are Current Available Dogs. If a dog isn't listed, we have closed the intake period or the dog is no longer available. We update our list daily. Click on a dog's picture to view their Full Profile. Please do not contact us to ask for a dog's information or if they are available. All information is listed on each dog's profile. We do not currently adopt out of state (CA). Any adopter must be willing to travel to pick up dog. We receive hundreds of emails per day and cannot answer questions on information already provided here. We do require an application to be completed for anyone interested in a dog. During our application intake period, we receive dozens of apps for each dog. Once we close the intake period, we review all applicants and choose One, out of many. The process is lengthy, and may take up to a few weeks. You will be updated via Email on the status of your application. You are also welcome to attend an Adoption Event to meet and adopt *Not all dogs are guaranteed to attend. Check out the 'Events' tab. Please note: We do not have the option of bringing a dog to an interested party, just so they can meet a dog. Unfortunately we don't have the resources or funds to pay for transport. If you want to only meet a dog, you can attend our next adoption event. We don't place 'holds' on any dog,
All our dogs come fully vetted. Unlike other shelters and rescues that only spay/neuter and give a first set of a vaccine (leaving the new owner to finish all other sets of vaccines, dewormings, Rabies, bordetella, and more!), we at Mutt Hut Rescue, believe in adopting to you, a complete and fully vetted companion! We do all the work, so you don't have to. Thus, our adoption fees, although still less in cost and more affordable than doing all medical services yourself at a Vet, are in line with what we provide for each dog. Please also keep in mind that most of the dogs in our rescue were RESCUED from a bad situation and have needed extra medical care, medications, testing, surgeries, hospitalization, and more. A small fee is all we ask to help us continue to save and rescue dogs. In turn, no matter how much in medical bills we spend on a specific dog, the adoption fee never fluctuates for that age bracket. We are not in the business of making money, but rather to save the life of a dog in need. All our dogs come complete with; Spay/Neuter, 3-4 Deworming Treatments, 2-3 DHPP Vaccines, Bordatella Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Microchip, Adoption Pack (food, bowl, leash, collar *subject to availability) and more! Our adoption process is easy, can be done online and digital.
